In the Catholic Diocese of Arlington, Deanery I covers the most densely populated inner suburbs of Northern Virginia, including Arlington, Falls Church, and McLean. Because legislative districts are based on population density and sometimes landmarks, many parishes in this deanery are split across two or more Virginia State Senate districts.
